| Wow. Would you look at that? I'm updating a whole four months early.
You should be honored Linda. I'm updating all because of your trip up this weekend. What to say about this weekend? It was great yet uncomfortable at the same time. My wonderful timing decided this weekend was a good time to get sick.
So, Lingda and I go to pick out Linda from the Greyhound station, and the instructions say to turn left onto I-290 East. Unfortunately 290 East heads to the right, so we're there going so do we go left or right. After a couple of confused circles, it turns out its on the left. Then when we get back to my room, Linda pressures me into calling Rose to say her "package" has arrived. And Rose suspiciously asks, "Is Linda there?" Instant panic attack on my part. My brain is going, "What am I going to do? How do I get out of this?" So, I lie through my teeth and go no. And since, Rose didn't know Linda was here, she wasn't planning on coming back. So Linda and I go to get dinner then head back to wait for Sue to take Linda to karaoke. My throat hurt too much to go, so I totally missed Rose's expression when she realized Linda was here. Why didn't you have Sue take a picture of her face Linda?!!!
The next day, Linda, Rose, and I go to Coco's Cafe for lunch. It was fun, but then Geoffrey came to pick us up to get stuff for Rose's party. That was interesting. Who needs a roller coaster when he's around? Talk about sudden turns. So after experiencing his driving and getting birthday supplies, we head to the Underground to have Rose's party and go bowling. Wow. That was only my second time bowling. Needless to say my lack of motor skills managed to send the bowling ball behind me once , and I finished last. After that, we apparently collectively decided we hadn't had enough of Geoffrey's driving, so we went to watch a movie at Highland Mall. On the way to the mall, Geoffrey managed to lose his glasses while driving! We're cruising along, when suddenly, out of nowhere, Geoffrey says, "Hey can you help find my glasses?" And all the while he's still driving, and not only is he still driving, he intended to get onto the highway without his glasses. But he managed to find his glasses before he got onto the highway, and we got to the theater without any major difficulties. What should I say about The Forgotten? I know, how about it was surprising. But after the movie, the four of us went to Bennigan's for dinner before heading back. I had a lot of fun, and I really appreciate you taking your time to drive us everywhere Geoffrey.
Unfortunately, I only got a quick glimpse of Linda on Sunday, before she, Rose, and Geoffrey drove off to send her back. But, this weekend was a blast, and we definitely have to do it again sometime. |
